Today’s Run: \u00a060 min lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n

There is a tradition in our family for special occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas~that is Dessert. \u00a0Not that we have Dessert, that is a given. \u00a0But a specific Dessert. \u00a0Cherry Dessert. \u00a0It is a staple~and it is usually my responsibility to make it (I like to make cherry dessert by the way).<\/p>\n

I love Cherry Dessert but had never had it until I was married. \u00a0It was a favorite of my husband’s family and I was taught how to make it by my mother-in-law. \u00a0My husband and I introduced it to my family and it was an instant success, too. \u00a0So, it is now tradition.<\/p>\n

Today was the day to make the Cherry Dessert. \u00a0First off is the graham cracker crust. \u00a0Yummy! (Today I used my food processor to make the graham cracker crumbs!) \u00a0Then you mix the cream cheese with the whipped cream and top the whole thing of with canned cherries. \u00a0Decadent!<\/p>\n

The only thing missing was my helpers.<\/p>\n

When my kids were little they would fight over who got to lick the bowl, the spatula, the beaters…but the kids are grown and on their own now…so, enter Paxton. \u00a0Paxton was more than happy to take the kids’ place! \u00a0He begged, he pleaded, he drooled, he groveled…and he was successful.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
