Today’s Run: \u00a04.21 miles<\/p>\n

Bad news. \u00a0Castro is gone. \u00a0Not Fidel Castro (although that would not altogether be such a bad thing) but Castro, my son’s cat.<\/p>\n

My daughter had a cat named Kali. \u00a0When my daughter moved to Alaska a while back, we took Kali to live with us…anyway, before Kali moved in with us, she had a litter of kittens~ one of which my daughter named, Castro. \u00a0Castro went to live my my son. \u00a0They were a pair, those two. \u00a0Kinda like, if you remember the old show, The Odd Couple. \u00a0Perfect for each other.<\/p>\n

A couple of months ago, my son got his own place and took Castro with him in the move. \u00a0Now, Castro is a little houdini when it comes to getting out of the house and not so great about coming back when called.<\/p>\n

About three weeks ago now, Castro pulled a fast one and escaped. \u00a0We have not seen hide nor hair of him since. \u00a0This is very sad. \u00a0After this extended amount of time, the decision has been made to move on to another animal. \u00a0So what next? \u00a0Something cute that does not take up a lot of room (small appartment). \u00a0Something that is quiet and that does NOT escape every time\u00a0the door opens. \u00a0Something that has a cute fluffy tail and a wiggly nose. \u00a0Something that will be named Loke.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
