Today’s Run: \u00a05 miles<\/p>\n

We are beginning to put the finishing touches on our arbor project. \u00a0The patio is poured and looks terrific. \u00a0The retaining wall is doing it’s job and looks terrific. \u00a0The arbor\/pergola itself is all done and looks terrific. \u00a0Now, all that is left is the detail work.<\/p>\n

Yesterday and today I began planting some monkey grass around the edge of the concrete and the retaining wall. \u00a0A friend of mine had a bunch of it that she was going to dispose of and I talked her into saving it for me just for this project. Being the good friend that she is, she even dug it up for me! \u00a0Cool Beans!!! \u00a0So, it is now planted around the perimeter of the patio. \u00a0All done.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tomorrow, the landscaping guy who built the nice retaining wall is coming back out. \u00a0He is bringing with him some Chocolate Vine. This is the vine that I chose to grow over the top of the arbor\/pergola to add more shade and make being under the arbor more comfortable during the Summer months.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It should look pretty and add some additional color during the Summer.<\/p>\n

The last thing we are wanting to do it get some patio furniture! \u00a0Now there’s a novel idea! \u00a0Right now we have one chair. \u00a0One. \u00a0And we are two people. \u00a0Two. \u00a0That is not going to work. \u00a0So, hopefully with the off season sales or maybe through the newspaper or private party, we can find something else on which to sit. \u00a0And that should be that. \u00a0A successful completion to a very long but fun project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
