{"id":711,"date":"2012-10-22T00:39:36","date_gmt":"2012-10-22T00:39:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=711"},"modified":"2012-10-22T00:50:21","modified_gmt":"2012-10-22T00:50:21","slug":"foreign-travel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=711","title":{"rendered":"Foreign Travel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon, after church services, my son and I embarked on a journey to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. \u00a0Home of the Crimson Tide. \u00a0A foreign country seeing as we reside in Mississippi Bulldog territory.<\/p>\n<p>This was an\u00a0expedition to purchase a pair of running shoes for my son. \u00a0He is getting back into running after little time off and was in need of a fresh pair. \u00a0There is a store in Tuscaloosa with a pad that you walk over that measures the pressure points of your stride and can tell what type of shoe is appropriate for your feet. \u00a0So, that is where we went.<\/p>\n<p>Tuscaloosa is only an hour drive from our house. \u00a0You pop onto Hwy 82 and go East until you hit the shopping center. \u00a0Turn right and Ta-Dah! \u00a0There you are! \u00a0 \u00a0It is a nice drive.<\/p>\n<p>The closer we got to Tuscaloosa however, the more we saw Crimson Tide signs, license plates, banners&#8230;We are used to HAIL STATE billboards and license plates! \u00a0I told you, it was a foreign country! \u00a0And next weekend, the Bulldogs have an away game to this same town when the #11 Mississippi State Bulldogs and #1 Alabama Crimson Tide have a showdown! \u00a0Go Bulldogs!!!<a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/imgres3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-714\" title=\"HAIL STATE!!!\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/imgres3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day This afternoon, after church services, my son and I embarked on a journey to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. \u00a0Home of the Crimson Tide. \u00a0A foreign country seeing as we reside in Mississippi Bulldog territory.
