{"id":71,"date":"2012-05-01T17:06:20","date_gmt":"2012-05-01T17:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=71"},"modified":"2012-05-01T20:49:13","modified_gmt":"2012-05-01T20:49:13","slug":"kitty-cold-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=71","title":{"rendered":"Kitty Cold War"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s run: \u00a02.30 miles with a broken toe \u00a0Ouch!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we picked up Paxton and Kali and brought them home to meet the new kitty of the house, Castro. \u00a0Paxton, being Paxton, got his nose hit four times before he figured out that he really did not want to play with the new cat after all. \u00a0That is when the fun began. Ever since Paxton bowed out of the conflict, we have had a household full of unhappy cat noises.<\/p>\n<p>Last night the two cats went nose to nose. \u00a0They did not exchange blows but exchanged growls and hisses. \u00a0At bedtime, Kali (as usual) came to sleep between my legs and started purring. \u00a0Castro jumped up on the bed by my feet and just looked at Kali. \u00a0Kali went nuts and starting hissing and Castro did the same. \u00a0Kali jumped up on the wardrobe and stared at Castro who paced on the floor underneath her.
