Today’s Run: \u00a050 min lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n
I went shopping today. \u00a0Twice.<\/p>\n
My parents came over today to help with a little ongoing project we have here at the house. \u00a0So, while the guys were busy with the project, my Mom and I went to a department store to return a pair of shoes and to shop. \u00a0We went with a specific list and did a little power shopping. \u00a0We did not want to stay too long because it was almost lunch time and I still had to do some cooking (and I was hungry).<\/p>\n
With our list, we found exactly what we wanted. \u00a0A green top to match a previously purchased scarf and a black cardigan. \u00a0Did you know that a plain ‘ol, little ‘ol black cardigan is hard to find? \u00a0But,\u00a0persistence pays off and we found the green top and the black cardigan. \u00a0Success!!!<\/p>\n
We went home for lunch victorious.<\/p>\n
There is an art supply store in town that I like to frequent. \u00a0Every Friday, if you “like” their page on FB before 11:00 am. your name goes into a drawing. \u00a0They hold the drawing right at 11:00. \u00a0Well, last week I won the drawing~a $50.00 gift card for the store! \u00a0Cool Beans!<\/p>\n
Seeing as my husband and I needed to take a trip into town this evening, I decided to take advantage of my success as a shopper from earlier in the day and apply it towards my gift card. \u00a0So, after running our errand, we stopped by the art supply store and I spent my $50.00. \u00a0I know you are dying to know what I got for my $50.00, so I will tell you:<\/p>\n
Three tubes of oil paints<\/p>\n
One bottle of Liquin<\/p>\n
One paint brush<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Pretty cool stuff, huh? \u00a0 So, tomorrow, I might be telling all about the painting I am working on. \u00a0We’ll see…<\/p>\n
