{"id":529,"date":"2012-08-28T00:40:03","date_gmt":"2012-08-28T00:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=529"},"modified":"2012-08-28T00:40:03","modified_gmt":"2012-08-28T00:40:03","slug":"and-we-have-shade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=529","title":{"rendered":"And We Have&#8230;Shade!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest day~run again tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>My husband and I worked on the pergola off and on today. \u00a0Since he was technically at work, he did have to put some time in at his office. \u00a0We did the last of the board cutting and began putting up the lattice roof.<\/p>\n<p>I was not real thrilled about having a lattice roof on this thing. \u00a0It has been my intention, all along, to plant Wisteria this Fall and have it climb and canopy the pergola (fyi: \u00a0Wisteria grows an average of 10 ft per year). \u00a0My husband talked me into the lattice with the intention on picking it out as the Wisteria grows and makes a natural shade. \u00a0Okay. \u00a0I suppose. \u00a0As long as the lattice is NOT\u00a0permanent.<\/p>\n<p>As we worked, we noticed that it actually got cooler. \u00a0It did not seem quite so hot! \u00a0Now why would that be? \u00a0We finally figured it out~the pergola was actually producing shade! \u00a0Go figure! \u00a0Just what we wanted and it was working. \u00a0Cool Beans.<\/p>\n<p>On a side note, we got into our hives yesterday before church and put the honey into jars this evening: \u00a010 1\/2 jars. \u00a0That will be enough to give each of the neighbors a jar for Christmas.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-530\" title=\"pergola shade \" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001.jpg 1600w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/pergola-shade-001-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest day~run again tomorrow!
