Christmas 2017 is officially in the books.\u00a0 (It was fabulous, by the way!!!)\u00a0 Time now to turn our attention toward the new year.<\/p>\n

2018.<\/p>\n

Isn’t that crazy!?!\u00a0 How do the years fly by so fast?<\/p>\n

It’s funny, people ask me my “New Year’s Resolution” and I find I don’t have any.\u00a0 I’ve never been a person to do that.\u00a0 I guess I’m always afraid of falling short of my goals.<\/p>\n

These days when people ask me this question, I answer in races.\u00a0 What races do I have pending.\u00a0 What races are on my #BucketList.\u00a0 Those are my resolutions\/goals.\u00a0 Those are the things that I know with some effort on my part they just *might* be attainable!<\/p>\n

That is exciting!<\/p>\n

That is terrifying!<\/p>\n

That is awesome!!!<\/p>\n

Being a “late bloomer” in running, I know it’s never, ever too late to get started in trying to better yourself.\u00a0 There’s never too much water under the bridge.<\/p>\n

Hope!\u00a0 There’s always hope!<\/p>\n

Sure, it’ll take a while.<\/p>\n

Sure, it would have been easier if you had started when you were younger!<\/p>\n

~BUT~<\/p>\n

It is still do~able.<\/p>\n

Don’t sell yourself short in 2018.\u00a0 Get yourself up out of that chair and walk down the end of the driveway and back a few times.\u00a0 After a while, go around the block!<\/p>\n

Buy a dog.\u00a0 Walk it!<\/p>\n

Be\u00a0 creative!<\/p>\n

Find what works for you.<\/p>\n
