{"id":453,"date":"2012-08-04T20:58:10","date_gmt":"2012-08-04T20:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=453"},"modified":"2012-08-04T20:58:10","modified_gmt":"2012-08-04T20:58:10","slug":"up-we-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=453","title":{"rendered":"Up We Go!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>Well, today the vertical posts on the arbor started to rise! \u00a0Yeah! \u00a0We want to get one section of the arbor complete before we leave for our vacation. \u00a0This is a very exciting thing.<\/p>\n<p>We have spent the past two weeks digging holes for the footings and then filling them with concrete before the holes naturally fill up with water. \u00a0This makes for some fast work.<\/p>\n<p>During this time I have learned how to use a post hole digger, how to break up concrete, and how to pour concrete. \u00a0It has been a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun.<\/p>\n<p>So, today the first two posts are going vertical. \u00a0Big deal you say? \u00a0Yes, very big deal! \u00a0Soon the South side of our home will be shaded and comfortable. \u00a0 We will plant Wisteria for a covering on the top of the arbor and purchase one of those humongous fans they have a Lowe&#8217;s to keep the air moving. \u00a0That way we can enjoy the &#8220;great outdoors&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, today really is an exciting day. \u00a0We can see the light flickering at the end of the tunnel. \u00a0This project (which we have been planning for two Summer&#8217;s) may be nearing completion. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-454\" title=\"the arbor goes up\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001.jpg 1600w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/the-arbor-goes-up-001-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day Well, today the vertical posts on the arbor started to rise! \u00a0Yeah! \u00a0We want to get one section of the arbor complete before we leave for our vacation. \u00a0This is a very exciting thing.
