{"id":448,"date":"2012-08-02T20:23:34","date_gmt":"2012-08-02T20:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=448"},"modified":"2012-08-02T20:23:34","modified_gmt":"2012-08-02T20:23:34","slug":"piece-of-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=448","title":{"rendered":"Piece of Cake!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>There was no run today because I had an appointment with my eye surgeon. \u00a0Today was the day he removed the cataract from my right eye (the left eye will follow in two weeks).<\/p>\n<p>I am not one to get all excited about surgical procedures~ just chalk them up to something that needs to be done. \u00a0This surgery feel into that category. \u00a0In all\u00a0actuality, I was looking forward to the procedure due to the fact that I have not been able to see well the past five years due to these cataracts. \u00a0This was a big deal thing to eagerly look forward!<\/p>\n<p>A two hour waiting time was what I was expecting but that did expand into a five hours. \u00a0No big deal for me but for my husband, who was also my ride, it was a very long wait. \u00a0But good things come to those who wait! \u00a0And this is a very good thing.<\/p>\n<p>My eye is not red at all, just a little puffy and all that will be gone tomorrow. \u00a0There are just a few restrictions for the next few days and then, BAM! \u00a0I am back into full swing! \u00a0Sounds like a deal to me! \u00a0Plus, not more glasses!!! <a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/tn.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-449\" title=\"Right eye cataract surgery.
