Today’s Run: 7.20 miles<\/p>\n

We ran with the running group this morning. \u00a0The humidity was low (65%) and the temp was low 75 degrees, so the run was enjoyable. \u00a0That meant that we earned some extra calories today! \u00a0That meant Caledonia for ice cream!!! \u00a0Yummy!<\/p>\n

Usually on our trips to Caledonia, we have a niece or nephew with us, so our trips are there and back again, do not pass “Go”…No side trips. \u00a0Just Caledonia, the dinner of their choice and back home for a game of Scabble. \u00a0Today, however, it was just the two of us and there was an antique shop that I had been wanting to visit. \u00a0Today was THE day!!!<\/p>\n

Sure enough, they had four, count them four! table top antique radios from which to choose. \u00a0We had stopped with the express purpose of looking for antique radios. \u00a0I think that my husband was secretly banking on the hope that there would not be any radios. \u00a0Wrong!<\/p>\n

We came home with a 1946 RCA am\/fm radio! \u00a0It has an all wood cabinet. \u00a0All the original knobs are there, the tubes are there, the antenna…all the original parts are present and accounted for. \u00a0Bells and whistles on this find. \u00a0Do not know yet if it works or not. \u00a0 Does not really matter. \u00a0It is a nice looking radio.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
