Today’s run: \u00a0Rest day (I was a little under the weather)<\/p>\n
Alright, I know that you are getting tired of hearing about Schaeffer’s Chapel so I promise to give it a rest after this entry. \u00a0BUT~I had a brainstorm this afternoon!<\/p>\n
See, we have a\u00a0columnist in our local paper who lives close by and who also just happens to attend Schaeffer’s Chapel. So, today, I took it upon myself to see if she knew if maybe, just maybe, they may be making plans to re-open the original road after the present road construction was complete. \u00a0I really did not expect to hear from her. \u00a0I am sure she is busy being a columnist and all but lo, and behold, not two hours passed and I had a reply email! \u00a0Shock and disbelief! \u00a0So without further ado: \u00a0I regret to tell you that it is my understanding that the road will not be reopened due to the bridge. It was more costly to rebuild that bridge than to just move “Shaeffer’s Chapel” road south.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If you are that close I would love to invite you and your husband to church sometime. Tonight is fellowship supper at 6:30.
