Many of you know #1 Son is in Grad School. \u00a0He is working towards his Masters in Journalism.<\/p>\n

Part of his degree work was to be working the polls.<\/p>\n

Not working the polls like surveying people as they left, he was to follow social media posts! \u00a0He was watching Twitter, FB and IG.<\/p>\n

There were certain #hashtags that he and other people were to be watching. \u00a0They would gather the data from those posts and send them along to the place collating all the information.<\/p>\n

A lot of this was technical and over my head.<\/p>\n

Last night, I was chatting with #1 Son and I was given strict orders. \u00a0Under NO circumstances was I to post ANY pics of my pudgy, necktie wearing pooch, Paxton on social media using any of those hashtags.<\/p>\n

I took this as a challenge.<\/p>\n

I obliged.<\/p>\n

I Tweeted then I posted on FB and IG.<\/p>\n

The Tweet read: \u00a0Paxton is confused. He wanted to vote but he didn’t have ID. Poor Paxton. #mydogwearsneckties #votingproblems #triedtovote #pudgypooch<\/p>\n

Later this afternoon, #1 Son called me back.<\/p>\n

I TOLD you NOT to post about Paxton!<\/p>\n

“Oh!” *I said sweetly* “Did you see Paxton’s pic?”<\/p>\n

“Yes! \u00a0So did everybody else in the department! \u00a0I was working and I heard all these people saying, ‘Look at the dog! \u00a0He’s wearing a necktie! He’s too cute!!!'”<\/p>\n

I was laughing too hard at this point.<\/p>\n

“What did you do?” I asked.<\/p>\n

“What could I do!?” he answered. “I shook my head and said, ‘That’s my mom’s dog.'”<\/p>\n

Hahaha!!! \u00a0I love being a mom!<\/p>\n
