I am now obsessively counting down the days to my race. \u00a0You say, “What? \u00a0I thought you were already doing that!” \u00a0Well, yes, you would be right but it’s worse now that it’s getting super close and I have a zillion things to get done before we leave for the race.<\/p>\n

Seriously, though, I’m feeling prepared. \u00a0Calm.<\/p>\n

This is frightening!<\/p>\n

My racing singlet for Renegade Endurance racing team arrived in the mail today. \u00a0I’ve been watching for it. \u00a0I kind of expected it to get here on Saturday but it came today so I’ll have a snazzy new shirt to wear representing my awesome teammates on Renegade Endurance. \u00a0 \u00a0http:\/\/www.renegadeendurance.com\/<\/p>\n

Aside from a trip to Walmart to pick up food for during the race for MFH (My Favorite Husband) and myself, the only thing left to do is drop the animals off at “Reggie’s House” and get my hair cut. \u00a0I do have a small taper run on Wednesday but that’s it, folks! \u00a0I feel like I have TONS to do but it’s really not that bad.<\/p>\n

Easy Peasy.<\/p>\n

Today is Leap Year Day! \u00a0I’ve really never paid that much attention to this day. \u00a0To be honest, this day has always been kind of annoying to me. \u00a0That’s pretty silly but it has. \u00a0This year, it’s been kind of fun! \u00a0Our sweet neighbor lady’s birthday is today and she is 21 (aka:84). \u00a0Maybe that’s why I’ve enjoyed today.<\/p>\n

It’s been a picture perfect day in Mississippi! \u00a0Couldn’t ask for better weather.<\/p>\n

Ran to Schaeffer’s Chapel. \u00a0You all know this is my favorite route! \u00a0That little Chapel lifts my spirits so I always enjoy those runs. \u00a0 Today, though, I found a beach ball in the ditch across from the Chapel. \u00a0That hit my funny bone, so I snapped a quick pic. \u00a0I’ve seen many strange\/interesting things while running but that beach ball made me giggle. \u00a0There was one large black bull who came up to the fence as I ran by both times. \u00a0He waited each time until I was past him to start “Moo-ing” like crazy. \u00a0Goofy cow.<\/p>\n

We have lots of tiny purple flowers in bloom all over our yard. \u00a0My honeybees are taking full advantage of those flowers! \u00a0#happybees<\/p>\n

That’s about it! \u00a0Seeing as it’s the last day of February, I’ll post my monthly and year to day mileage and that’s just because I’m a complete numbers nerd.<\/p>\n

February miles: \u00a0181.76 \u00a0*this 3 week taper killed my miles! \u00a0The rest was nice, though. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
