We’re going to try to condense everything into one(?) blog post??? \u00a0Here we go!<\/p>\n

First off, #1 Daughter got engaged while we were visiting! \u00a0How awesome is that!?! \u00a0Cool story to this but we’ll save it for another post.<\/p>\n

We spent Christmas Eve with #1 Daughter’s soon to be In-Law’s and then had Christmas Day with #1 Daughter and #1 Daughter’s #1 Fiance’. \u00a0Such a fun time!<\/p>\n

I got MFH (My Favorite Husband) a drone! \u00a0#cooltoy<\/p>\n

I only ran 13 miles while we were on vacation. \u00a0I was shy of about 40 training miles. \u00a0Oops! \u00a0#priorities \u00a0Making up for it this week.<\/p>\n

Found out right before we left that I had been selected to be a member of Team Zensah 2016. \u00a0I love Zensah products!!! \u00a0Wear them all the time. \u00a0Swear by them. \u00a0Super excited about this opportunity!!! Hold onto your hats, you’re going to be hearing a lot about Zensah throughout 2016!!! \u00a0\u00a0#teamZensah #withoutlimitz<\/p>\n

While we were on vacation, I also learned that a friend of mine, Todd, had given my name to a man who does a podcast. \u00a0Fit Over 40. \u00a0This man asked me if I would be willing to be a featured person on his podcast. \u00a0Of course! \u00a0What an honor!!! \u00a0I will be recording my segment this Wednesday at 2:30 pm…right after I finish up my long run. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Lots of totally excellent things happened while we were on vacation. \u00a0It was a fabulous time!!!<\/p>\n

We drove in picture perfect weather on our way out to Colorado. \u00a0MFH and I took one of our extra pickup’s out to give to #1 Daughter and #1 Fiance’. \u00a0When we crossed the Colorado boarder, I noticed the pickup had a flat. \u00a0I told MFH and we pulled over and fixed the tire. \u00a0That was the only mishap on the trip heading out.<\/p>\n

On the way home, we hit ugly weather almost the entire trip. \u00a0We did get to visit with my In-Laws for a day. \u00a0That was super fun! \u00a0They are great people! \u00a0We went to the “Brown Drawing.” \u00a0Saw a lot of people we hadn’t seen for years. \u00a0MFH really enjoyed himself there.<\/p>\n

Finally, yesterday, we headed home. \u00a0We left Des Moines at 7:00 am and pulled into our driveway at 9:30 pm. \u00a0It had been a big day. \u00a0We did make a quick stop in St. Louis to meet up with a running buddy.<\/p>\n

We also drove by the Arch.<\/p>\n

Today, as soon as all the tornado stuff expired, I headed out for a nice WARM (YAY!!!) 10 miles and it was wonderful! \u00a0My butt was beginning to fuse into the shape of a car seat. \u00a0Being out and running again was glorious!<\/p>\n
