<\/a><\/p>\nPeople seemed to like the pic but like I said, that was a week ago and now it \u00a0was old news. \u00a0Or at least I thought it was old news.<\/p>\n
Today somebody commented on that pic. \u00a0I was surprised. \u00a0I was even more surprised when I saw who had commented! \u00a0It was the man who had helped me get my page going telling other Mississippi runners about upcoming races in the state. \u00a0He does this as part of his yearly income. \u00a0Mine is voluntary. \u00a0I had told him I didn’t want to step on toes or anything with his business yet being the kind man he is, he helped me get the page off the ground. \u00a0Super. Nice. Guy. \u00a0#respect<\/p>\n
So, here he was commenting on that week old post?<\/p>\n
This is what he said: \u00a0 “Breaking News!!! You’re the new state record holder in your age for the 10 mile. Congrats!”<\/p>\n
That’s when I said: \u00a0“No Way! \u00a0Are you being for real or pulling my leg?”<\/p>\n
I mean, let’s be realistic here. \u00a0Speedy I am not. \u00a0Tenacious as they come, yes. \u00a0Speedy? \u00a0No. \u00a0Here he was was saying I had set a Mississippi State Record for the 10 Mile distance for 53 year old women!?! \u00a0I don’t think so…<\/p>\n
Pretty soon, he made a separate post to me on my FB page:<\/p>\n
Maybe you’ll start believing me now! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n A state record was added: NO WAY!!! \u00a0 Holy Cow!!! \u00a0Hahaha!!! \u00a0Will miracles never cease!?! \u00a0That has GOT to be the most amazing thing ever!<\/p>\n So, of course I go running to tell MFH. \u00a0He had heard me in the living room going, “NO WAY!!!” and was wondering what was up.<\/p>\n He was pretty doggone pleased, too! \u00a0After thinking about it he says, “So, does this mean I’m married to the state record holder in Mississippi for 53 yo women in the 10 Mile racing distance?”<\/p>\n I replied, “It DOES!!!!!” \u00a0Hahaha!!!<\/p>\n Funny stuff.<\/p>\n Here’s the link if you don’t believe me and would like to see for yourself.<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.staterunningrecords.com\/asp\/records.asp?action=processsearch&state=MS&distance=10+Mile&sex=FEMALE<\/p>\n
