I didn&#8217;t fiddle around! I ate a slice of toast and drank 1 cup of coffee and hit the road.<\/p>\n<p>It was super pretty this morning!!! It was already 73* 95% humidity when I started.<\/p>\n<p>The first 6 miles were easy peasy. No problems at all. Then I did something dumb. I headed away from my &#8220;shady&#8221; route and went somewhere that was direct sunshine for 7 miles. It did me in.<\/p>\n<p>I managed to squeak out the HM distance but I overheated. By now it was 85* w\/same humidity and it was just too much. I think if I had stayed with my &#8220;shady&#8221; route, there wouldn&#8217;t have been a problem *kicks self around block*<\/p>\n<p>I did stop by the house at mile 3 for the bug spray. The biting flies thought I made a great chew toy this morning. The end of that run, I was basically staggering the last mile. I&#8217;m glad no-body saw me, they might have called 911! I looked pretty bad. HA!.<\/p>\n<p>Showered, ate lunch then started freezing!!! I was wearing a heavy jacket in the house. Called it a day and took a nap buried in blankets. When I crash, I crash! HA!!! Anyway, that&#8217;s my sad story about today&#8217;s run.
