Good ol’ Paxton. \u00a0When he does things, he does them 100% full throttle. \u00a0There’s not anything halfhearted about this guy, it’s all or nothing.<\/p>\n
We’ve had company since Friday. \u00a0My In-Laws have been here! \u00a0They’re good people. \u00a0We always enjoy their visits. \u00a0We don’t get to see them often so when they come down this way, it is a big treat!<\/p>\n
Paxton LOVES my In-Laws! \u00a0MIL LIKES Paxton. \u00a0She’s not a big animal person like I am but she tolerates my two cats and silly Paxton. \u00a0Personally, I think she liked it a little better when I had the chickens…FIL is Paxton’s favorite. \u00a0FIL is a dog guy but really doesn’t know what to do with all of Paxton’s…..enthusiasm.<\/p>\n
Paxton realizes all of this, bless his puppy heart, and does his very best to curb all of his puppy exuberance, \u00a0It leaves him absolutely exhausted!<\/p>\n
This morning, the In-Laws took off for Florida to spend some time with BIL. \u00a0They will be there part of this week and then stop at our place again on their way home (Iowa).<\/p>\n
As they pulled out of the driveway, Paxton sat by the front door watching them. \u00a0 He was so cute. \u00a0His puppy ears were perked up with one paw up like he does when he wants something except this time, it looked like he was waving good-bye.<\/p>\n
The rest of the day, he has been passed out on that pink puppy of his, sawing logs. \u00a0It’s hard work to be on your best puppy behavior for that long!<\/p>\n
