I think today is going to be a little bit of lots of different things. \u00a0Some of these things you’ve probably heard about already…<\/p>\n
The big news yesterday was winning a free entry into the Air Force Marathon. \u00a0I was pretty excited about this, primarily because I never win anything! \u00a0This was a big deal.<\/p>\n
I vaguely remember entering the drawing. It was quite a while back. \u00a0I don’t even remember if I had been accepted into Berlin yet. \u00a0No, I’m positive I wasn’t because I wouldn’t have entered if I had known about Berlin already.<\/p>\n
See, the Air Force Marathon is on September 19. \u00a0I am leaving for Berlin, Germany, On Sept 22. \u00a0I don’t see myself traveling to Ohio, running a marathon on the 19th, traveling back to Mississippi on the 20th, driving to Alabama on the 21st and hopping on a plane on the 22nd and sitting on that plane for 18 hours. \u00a0Running the Berlin Marathon on the 27th and then hopping on a plane on the 30 and sitting another 18 hours, getting in the car and driving back home from Alabama to Mississippi.<\/p>\n
Nope. \u00a0I don’t see that happening.<\/p>\n
I contacted the people with the free registration to see if I could defer to next year. \u00a0Nope. \u00a0Transfer the registration to a friend? \u00a0Nope.<\/p>\n
Use it or lose it.<\/p>\n
I lost it.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I also rented a storage locker. \u00a0We are storing a LOT of stuff here at the house and it is time to get some of it out of here.<\/p>\n
We took two pick up truck loads of stuff to the storage locker last night after MFH was done with work. \u00a0By then it was getting dark(ish) and time to call it a day. \u00a0I don’t know if we’ll get any more loads taken over today. \u00a0We’re supposed to have rain this afternoon. \u00a0Fingers crossed on that.<\/p>\n
With the beautiful weather we’ve had this week, I’ve been trying the last three days to get a 15 miler in. \u00a0I ran 6 on Sunday and only 6. \u00a0I just didn’t have enough time on Sunday to get any more miles in before church.<\/p>\n
Monday, and Tuesday, I ran 10.00. \u00a0Monday, my goal was 10.00. \u00a0Had a lovely run! \u00a0Tuesday, I decided to try for 15 miles. \u00a0It warmed up fast on Tuesday and I didn’t have anything to drink with me. \u00a0Made it to 10 and that was all I had in me.<\/p>\n
Today, I took Gatorade with me. \u00a0She can be taught! \u00a0Again, I was going to try for 15~just because I didn’t get it yesterday. \u00a010.55 was it for the day. \u00a0Too many days in a row with double digit runs. \u00a0*sigh* \u00a0It was beautiful out, though!<\/p>\n
Tomorrow, I’m thinking I’m only going to run 10K. \u00a0Nice and easy.<\/p>\n
Paxton is on the mend! \u00a0He started eating and drinking yesterday. \u00a0Today, he even ASKED for food! \u00a0This is wonderful!!! \u00a0I don’t like it when he’s sick. \u00a0It’s too quiet.<\/p>\n
I met a FB\/Running friend while I was running my 50K on March 7. \u00a0Nice guy. \u00a0He makes shirts and decals primarily for runners. \u00a0He had made himself a shirt specifically for that Ultra.<\/p>\n
I met him on the trail during the race. \u00a0We had never met before IRL but I’d recognize that shirt anywhere! \u00a0I hollered at him, “Hey, Kevin! \u00a0I’d know that shirt anywhere!” or something like that.<\/p>\n
He stopped and laughed and we ran along side each other for a couple of miles and then I left him in the dust. \u00a0HA! \u00a0(I really did finish almost 2 whole hours ahead of him. \u00a0 He had a rough day on the trails.)<\/p>\n
Anyway, I got an envelope in the mail from him earlier this week. \u00a0He had made me a decal for my car, using the logo from the race we had run the week before (and yes, he had permission to use the logo). \u00a0How awesome is that!?! \u00a0MFH put it on the car immediately. \u00a0Smart man I married. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I’m sure there are other things to catch y’all up on but I’m burning daylight today and have a list a mile long of things to get done.<\/p>\n

I’m going to put two pics on here. \u00a0One is a collage of pics I took on today’s run and the other one is the pic of the back window on my car. \u00a0I already had the 50K and 26.2 sticker on the car. \u00a0The Mississippi 50 Trail Run decal is the one Kevin made for me. \u00a0Sweet, huh?<\/p>\n
