This past Thursday, MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I had a Chamber of Commerce get together in our town. \u00a0BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings) was hosting it so there was an exceptionally large turn out. \u00a0There were many people there who do not normally attend (That was pretty funny. \u00a0They were there for all the free BWW food.)<\/p>\n

The objective at these gatherings is to make connections and plug your business\/project. \u00a0We try to represent our radio station, Classic Book Radio (http:\/\/www.wmfhlp.org\/), at these events. \u00a0We are making some good contacts and seeing some positive things happen from attending these events each month.<\/p>\n

This month (March) having St. Patrick’s Day and all, we were told to wear green. \u00a0I don’t own anything green. \u00a0Seriously! \u00a0I dug through my closet and drawers for something green. \u00a0I don’t even own a green pair of socks! \u00a0It was sad. \u00a0That’s when I remembered my medal! \u00a0My medal from last weeks 50K had a very. green. ribbon. \u00a0It was the only green thing I had, so I put it around my neck, MFH tossed on a green striped oxford shirt and we bounded out the door.<\/p>\n

We were doing the socializing thing when this youngish lady sits down next to me. \u00a0We were seated at high bar tables so many of us were having to “climb” into our chairs. \u00a0She was climbing. \u00a0She was vertically challenged like me.<\/p>\n

We laughed at the height of the table and chairs and started chatting. \u00a0She does investments. \u00a0I told her about the radio station. \u00a0She lives in town. We live in the country.<\/p>\n

Funny! \u00a0Her Dad lives in the country, too! \u00a0Where?<\/p>\n

I told her.<\/p>\n

Her Dad lives out in the same area!<\/p>\n

Where?<\/p>\n

Holy Cow! \u00a0I run on his road (Limerock Rd. \u00a0I know you’ve heard me talk about running on Limerock Rd a lot!). I told her that I run on Limerock all. the. time.<\/p>\n

She said her dad has the big (I would call it HUGE) house right past the railroad tracks.<\/p>\n

Oh! \u00a0Is that the house with the Llama?<\/p>\n

Yes!!!<\/p>\n

Three Llamas, right?<\/p>\n

Yes! \u00a0Well, except one of the Llamas is expecting. \u00a0Soon there will be four.<\/p>\n

Well, there you have it. \u00a0Her dad, lives on Limerock Rd. and I know exactly who he is. \u00a0He drives a white duely with flames painted on the sides. \u00a0Can’t miss that truck!<\/p>\n
