First off, the Marathon from Saturday did complementary race photos! \u00a0I’ve never run a race where they didn’t make you purchase your pics. \u00a0Cool Beans, right!?! \u00a0So, I’m going to toss my finish line pic in here. \u00a0Just so you can see it. \u00a0My official finish time was 5:05:23. \u00a014 min PR. \u00a0I’ll take that, thank you very much! \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Today, I was scheduled for a 6 mile recovery run. \u00a0That is NOT going to happen.<\/p>\n

Nope.<\/p>\n

My rumpatootis and quads are very unhappy with me today. \u00a0That was to be expected but I thought I might be able to manage 6 miles anyway. \u00a0I changed my mind when I let Paxton, my pudgy pooch, out this morning.<\/p>\n

It is cold. \u00a036F cold and raining.<\/p>\n

I’m sorry. \u00a0You can call me a sissy but running in the cold, I can do and do it often. \u00a0Running in the cold rain is a completely different story.<\/p>\n

When I run in cold rain, my muscles never warm up and I spend the rest of the day shivering. \u00a0I cannot warm up after doing that. \u00a0What with already sore legs and the weather, no, today will be rest day #2.<\/p>\n
