We finally got home last night. \u00a0MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I drove 14 hours on Saturday and another 12 hours on Sunday. \u00a0It was a very. long. drive.<\/p>\n

It is wonderful to be home!<\/p>\n

This morning, MFH went to pick up Paxton, Kali and Castro from Reggie’s House. \u00a0They had been there for 1.5 weeks and were very ready to come home.<\/p>\n

Whenever Paxton goes to Reggie’s House, he plays very hard with the other dogs. \u00a0Lots of jumping and barking to be done, don’t you know. \u00a0When he gets home, he crashes. \u00a0Hard.<\/p>\n

This is known at our house as a “Reggie Hangover.”<\/p>\n

As I said, MFH went to pick up the animals while I was talking to MIL on the phone. I call her every Monday and we are on the phone usually 1.5 hours. \u00a0Seeing as I slept in until 8:00 am, I was running behind schedule for the morning. \u00a0I also had a 20 miler to do today so MFH decided to go and get the animals for me.<\/p>\n

He’s sweet. \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

When MFH got home, he let Paxton into the house and let the cats loose in the yard. \u00a0The cats prefer being outdoors during the day.<\/p>\n

Paxton came into the house.<\/p>\n

I was expecting a Paxton whirlwind but he was too pooped from Reggie’s to do even that. \u00a0He walked into the house and came over to me to say, “Hi.” \u00a0I petted and loved him a bit while still talking to MIL. \u00a0As soon as I had greeted him, he passed out on the floor and was sound asleep.<\/p>\n

That was 8 hours ago.<\/p>\n

He has gotten up twice to go out and do a “Good boy” but that is it.<\/p>\n

Paxton is one pooped pooch.<\/p>\n

Paxton has a major Reggie Hangover.<\/p>\n

Poor Paxton.<\/p>\n
