Over the years, we have “adopted” cats that have belonged to our children.<\/p>\n

It all started 4(?) years ago when #1 Daughter decided to make her big move to Alaska. \u00a0Traveling in her old pick up truck, she just couldn’t take her kitty (Kali) with her. \u00a0She didn’t want to take Kali to the shelter because she was afraid that they would put Kali down. \u00a0Kali is such a sweet kitty, she asked us if we would be willing to come to Colorado, pick up Kali and then take her back to our place in Mississippi.<\/p>\n

Being the softies we are, we agreed. \u00a0In the end, I ended up driving with #1 Daughter to Alaska and MFH (My Favorite Husband) made the drive back to Mississippi by himself with Kali.<\/p>\n

A year later, #1 Son decide to move to Mississippi from Colorado. \u00a0He was going to live with us for a while until he got settled. \u00a0He brought his kitty with him. \u00a0Castro. \u00a0Castro was given to him by #1 Daughter because Kali had kittens. \u00a0Castro was one of Kali’s kittens.<\/p>\n

Eventually, #1 Son found his own place and wasn’t able to take Castro. \u00a0We kept Castro at our place.<\/p>\n

That makes 2 (Two) cats.<\/p>\n

Paxton really enjoys the cats! \u00a0He thinks they are his best buddies. \u00a0They tolerate him, so it works well.<\/p>\n

A year ago, #1 Daughter decided to get another new kitty. \u00a0This kitty is fluffy!!! \u00a0Oh my goodness this cat is fluffy!!! \u00a0She is sweet and loving. \u00a0She is shy until she gets to know you but then she is your BFF. \u00a0Sweet cat,<\/p>\n

Well, guess what!?! \u00a0Yup! \u00a0#1 Daughter moved AND she can’t have her kitty with her.<\/p>\n

We are in Colorado this week, right at the time #1 Daughter is getting settled into her new place. \u00a0Guess who will be making the drive back to Mississippi with us?<\/p>\n

Yup! \u00a0Kitty #3 will be moving south. \u00a0Paxton will be thrilled!!! \u00a0Kali and Castro, not so much. \u00a0HA!<\/p>\n

The new kitty’s name is Masita. \u00a0Here is a pic of #1 Daughter and Masita.<\/p>\n
