{"id":2678,"date":"2014-10-14T12:08:56","date_gmt":"2014-10-14T17:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=2678"},"modified":"2014-10-14T12:08:56","modified_gmt":"2014-10-14T17:08:56","slug":"jiggity-jog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=2678","title":{"rendered":"Jiggity Jog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Home again, home again, jiggity jog.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Reggie&#8217;s House (where we board the animals) opens at 8:00 am. \u00a0Bright and early.<\/p>\n<p>They do not charge you for another day as long as you pick up your animals by noon. \u00a0They&#8217;re good people. \u00a0We wanted to get there as close to opening as we could seeing as MFH (My Favorite Husband) had to work today and I wouldn&#8217;t be able to handle all three animals by myself.<\/p>\n<p>Off we drove to Reggie&#8217;s House at 8:15 am. \u00a0Reggie is only 4 miles from our house so it is convenient. \u00a0We were the only people there picking up this morning. \u00a0That was a good thing because Paxton (my pudgy puppy) is a whirlwind when he gets to come home.<\/p>\n<p>I walked in the door and Kali (one of our two cats) heard my voice. \u00a0She was in a back room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Meow! \u00a0Meow! \u00a0MEOW!!!&#8221; \u00a0She said. \u00a0&#8220;Take me home!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>MFH and I went into the back room with the kitty carriers. \u00a0There Kali and Castro were. \u00a0They were scratching at the doors of their &#8220;Kennels(?).&#8221; \u00a0They were very ready to go home.<\/p>\n<p>Kali was rubbing against her door. \u00a0She was purring. \u00a0She was happy to see us.<\/p>\n<p>Castro (our other kitty), was quite put out with us. \u00a0Why had we abandoned him? \u00a0He had been stuck in a cage for the past four days!!! \u00a0Didn&#8217;t we know he expected to be let in and out of the house whenever he wanted!?! \u00a0This was treason as far as he was concerned.<\/p>\n<p>MFH put Castro into his kitty carrier first. \u00a0Castro was an unhappy kitty.<\/p>\n<p>Kali went into her kitty carrier second. \u00a0She was purring up a storm. \u00a0She was going home and life was good.<\/p>\n<p>MFH took the cats out to the truck. \u00a0While he was doing that, I was collecting Kali&#8217;s things (she&#8217;s on meds).<\/p>\n<p>Now, it was time for Paxton.<\/p>\n<p>Clear a path!<\/p>\n<p>MFH stayed by the truck. \u00a0I opened the door of Reggie&#8217;s House and the kennel attendant went to Paxton&#8217;s kennel. \u00a0She opened his door and BAM!!!<\/p>\n<p>Out shot Paxton! \u00a0He did not pass &#8220;Go!&#8221; \u00a0He did not collect $200.00 (that&#8217;s because I had just given it to Reggie&#8217;s House to pay for them watching the three animals while we were gone). \u00a0He went straight to MFH and waited impatiently to be lifted into the back of the truck.<\/p>\n<p>MFH tried to pick up a wiggling 130 pound Boxer and put him into the back of the truck.<\/p>\n<p>We drove home. \u00a0Slowly. \u00a0Paxton was enjoying the sights as we drove the back roads coming home. \u00a0He was a happy puppy. \u00a0His mouth was flapping open from the wind as we drove along. \u00a0What a silly dog!<\/p>\n<p>As we got closer to the house, we had the dog in the back with an, &#8220;I&#8217;m a lucky dog&#8221; look on his face and two cats telling us of their distress because they were each stuck in a kitty carrier and riding in a truck.<\/p>\n<p>Boy, I am glad we live close to Reggie&#8217;s House! \u00a0HA!<\/p>\n<p>We finally got home. \u00a0MFH got Paxton out of the back of the truck. \u00a0Paxton made a bee-line for the house (after stopping to water the grass). \u00a0We carried the cats and Paxton&#8217;s stuffed bear into the house. \u00a0Now, all three animal are &#8220;sleeping it off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Those three are so funny!<\/p>\n<p>It is great to be home! \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Home again, home again, jiggity jog.&#8221; Reggie&#8217;s House (where we board the animals) opens at 8:00 am. \u00a0Bright and early.
