So, #1 Son has moved out. \u00a0He leaves behind, one rabbit (Loki) and one cat (Castro).<\/p>\n
We do not have a large house and to be honest, we are bursting at the seams. \u00a0Something has to go…and it’s not going to MFH (My Favorite Husband) or myself.<\/p>\n
I made a phone call.<\/p>\n
My parents know of quite a few people who home-school who also live in the country. \u00a0They have large families and large homes = room for pets. \u00a0They are going to make some phone calls for me to see if anybody would be willing to take a cute fuzzy termite, I mean bunny, named Loki.<\/p>\n
This is not an easy thing for me to do. \u00a0Y’all know that I love animals, but I am also tapped out.<\/p>\n
One of the families that my parents are going to call also already have chickens. \u00a0My parents are going to inquire if they would like to add on to their flock.<\/p>\n
After paying $380.00 for a person to come and feed the chickens for 10 days while we went on vacation was an eye opener. \u00a0We are tied to the house. \u00a0Somethings GOT to give.<\/p>\n
The solution, of course, is to give some things up.<\/p>\n
This makes me sad but I also realize the necessity of this decision. \u00a0I am working towards this end.<\/p>\n
Paxton, my pudgy pooch, stays. \u00a0He is easy to board over and Reggie’s house. \u00a0He loves it there! \u00a0The cats can stay at Reggie’s, too, when we travel.<\/p>\n
#1 Daughter has expressed interest in taking Castro (the white cat) when she is able. \u00a0Kali, in reality, is her kitty, but Kali has medical issues and #1 Daughter cannot afford the medication. \u00a0So, she said that she would love to take Castro. \u00a0That will be a while off yet.<\/p>\n
So, the animal stories may be drying up here after a bit. \u00a0Well, I can always tell you stories about Paxton. \u00a0He’s a hoot! \u00a0Haha! \u00a0That dog!<\/p>\n
(He was sooooo sick yesterday. \u00a0Poor dog. \u00a0Kali had brought me a “Present” in the morning and he got to it and had it for breakfast before I had disposed of it. \u00a0Silly dog. \u00a0He was happy there for a brief moment. \u00a0Not so happy afterwards. \u00a0He has a delicate digestion, don’t you know. \u00a0This is not a funny Paxton story. \u00a0I hate to see him so miserable, but it is also a typical Paxton kind of thing to do.)<\/p>\n
Anyway, that is what is pending at my house. \u00a0Never a dull moment, to be sure. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
