#1 Daughter left to go back home to Colorado early this morning. \u00a0It was a sad time at our house…but, it was time to move on. \u00a0She is intelligent. \u00a0She is pretty. She is a very special person who will forever hold a place in my heart that cannot be substituted by anyone\/anything else. \u00a0She is my firstborn.<\/p>\n
Remember yesterday how I told you that Loki, the bunny, has free run of our back room, the solarium? \u00a0Well, during #1 Daughter’s visit, she had that back room to herself, too. \u00a0It is kind of a private room. \u00a0Loki graciously shared his room with her during her two week visit.<\/p>\n
After she left this morning, I fed Loki and let him out of his box for the day. \u00a0He was a happy bunny! \u00a0He was kicking his heels up and playing. \u00a0It was a good day to be a rabbit.<\/p>\n
About an hour ago, Loki started being naughty. \u00a0He started doing something he has never done before.<\/p>\n
We have a baby gate blocking the entrance to the solarium. \u00a0There are no doors to this room and the baby gate has been working just fine for a very, very long time. \u00a0This morning, after Loki figured out that #1 Daughter was no longer here, decided to go looking for her.<\/p>\n
Loki cleared that baby gate with ease! \u00a0Not just once, but many times. \u00a0Naughty bunny!<\/p>\n
I think he has #1 Daughter withdrawal. \u00a0He misses her and he wants to bring her back, \u00a0Me, too Loki. \u00a0Me, too.<\/p>\n
So, the majority of this past hour has been spent chasing that rabbit around the house and putting him back into the solarium. \u00a0Last time, he didn’t even wait until my back was turned before he hopped back over that baby gate. Hmmm…<\/p>\n
Now, Loki is cooling his fluffy bunny tail inside his box with the door shut. \u00a0Loki is in time out. \u00a0I’m going to have to figure out something new. \u00a0As Winnie the Pooh would say, “Oh, bother.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
