Today has been a day.<\/p>\n
Every Monday morning, I call my MIL. \u00a0We talk and talk and talk. \u00a0This is a good thing! \u00a0We genuinely like each other and look forward to the Monday morning conversations. \u00a0This mornings talk lasted 1 1\/2 hours. \u00a0A bit longer than usual. \u00a0That meant I was running behind for the day from the get go.<\/p>\n
I quickly headed out the door for my morning run. \u00a0It was already \u00a085 F. with 88% humidity. \u00a0I know it will be hotter than that on race day so I headed on out the door with 20 oz of Gatorade and some salt. \u00a06 miles later, I was out of Gatorade. \u00a0I had no water stops and there was no way I could run another 2 miles without anything to drink. \u00a0I was already running behind schedule for the day so I called MFH to come get me. \u00a0I chalked up the days run to 6.20 miles out of the planned 8. \u00a0A couple of miles are not going to make a huge difference on my weekly tally.<\/p>\n
I came into the house and asked #1 son to mix up the marinade for the chicken. \u00a0We were having kababs for lunch. \u00a0That is probably his favorite meal so he did that for me, no questions asked.<\/p>\n
While the kebabs were marinading, I made salsa and the seasoned black beans. \u00a0Tasty combo! \u00a0Made the kebabs. \u00a0Grilled. \u00a0Ate. \u00a0Cleaned up the kitchen. Showered. \u00a0Finally!!!<\/p>\n
In the meantime, I had done 4 loads of laundry up to that point. \u00a0(I multitask when I am on the phone \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0 \u00a0). \u00a0Now it was time for the real housework. \u00a0But, RATS! \u00a0I forgot I had to go to the pharmacy.<\/p>\n
Made a trip into town.<\/p>\n
Came home. \u00a0Gave the chickens ice water and collected eggs. \u00a0Swept floors. \u00a0Mopped. \u00a0Talked MFH into cleaning out the rabbit cage. \u00a0Dusted. \u00a0Did another 2 loads of laundry.<\/p>\n
Time for dinner! \u00a0Oh No! \u00a0I forgot to get anything out of the freezer for dinner! \u00a0Off to the gas station for cheeseburgers. They made THE BEST cheeseburgers!<\/p>\n
Ate dinner with MFH. \u00a0Bedtime for Birdies (put the chickens to bed). \u00a0Changed into bee suit. \u00a0Pulled honey. \u00a0Checked all the hives. \u00a0They look good!<\/p>\n
One more load of laundry.<\/p>\n
MFH is now waiting on me so we can process the honey. \u00a0Gotta Fly!<\/p>\n
