I do realize that Easter was a few weeks ago but I have been so busy that I have not had a chance to tell you about Easter for the animals.<\/p>\n
The chickens got a can of dog food. \u00a0They love the stuff~especially Greta, my Barred Rock hen.<\/p>\n
Paxton, Kali and Castro had to share their Easter basket. \u00a0They received a case of Nine Lives cat food. \u00a0The cats Never, Ever get canned cat food. \u00a0Neither does Paxton but he loves the stuff, so we let him have some, too.<\/p>\n
Paxton’s very own Easter present was a jar of Bubbles! \u00a0We thought he would love it! \u00a0I could just imagine him jumping, trying to catch and pop the bubbles. \u00a0That is the kind of dog he is.<\/p>\n
On Easter, we opened up the Bubbles. \u00a0Paxton was being very attentive. \u00a0We pulled out the bubble wand and blew gently. \u00a0Bubbles Everywhere!!!<\/p>\n
But no Paxton.<\/p>\n
Paxton was hiding in the hall bathroom~his favorite hiding place~the place reserved for thunderstorms.<\/p>\n
That silly dog was afraid of the bubbles!<\/p>\n
I tried and tried to get him to play with the bubbles but every time I would blow to get the bubbles, off he would run and would not come back out.<\/p>\n
