Today’s Run: \u00a055 min lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n

We have all seen them. \u00a0Those red power ties. \u00a0You probably know of someone who wears them ~ Dan Rather, Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, I do not know if the President has one or not, but probably he does. \u00a0But there is one who wears one of whom you may not be aware! \u00a0Paxton! \u00a0Yes, it is true. \u00a0My dog Paxton wears a power tie!<\/p>\n

I think we put a tie on Paxton when he was about six months old, just to see what he would do. \u00a0Dumb dog loved it! \u00a0I remember it was a Bugs Bunny tie that we got from the USPS back in the late 1990’s. \u00a0One does not wear Bugs Bunny ties to church around here but it was absolutely perfect for Paxton. \u00a0It lasted quite a while before he chewed it off.<\/p>\n

Since that time, he has always worn a tie. \u00a0He is quite the “cats meow”! \u00a0He thinks he is hot stuff and loves going on car rides and answering the door to show people he is special because he wears a tie! \u00a0And people love his tie and comment on it frequently. \u00a0So, the next time you see a power tie, think of my dog Paxton and wonder to yourself, I wonder what kind of tie he is wearing today?<\/p>\n
