Who remembers Mad Magazine? \u00a0That famous phrase, \u00a0“What. Me worry?”<\/p>\n
Well, I am not worried. \u00a0Nope. \u00a0Not me!<\/p>\n
Really, though. \u00a0I am not.<\/p>\n
See, I see the Orthopedic Doctor this coming Friday morning. \u00a0He is, hopefully going to give the official “Thumbs up” for me to resume my running.<\/p>\n
Now, I resumed my running 1 1\/2 weeks ago. \u00a0I eased into it a little at a time. \u00a0I listened carefully to my leg as I increased my distances. \u00a0I am up to 10 mile runs now.<\/p>\n
And not one negative word from my leg!<\/p>\n
I am a happy camper!<\/p>\n
What will I say to the Doctor?<\/p>\n
Well, that depends on if he asks me if I have been running or not. \u00a0I am really, really hoping he does NOT ask if I have been running. \u00a0I am a terrible liar.<\/p>\n
If he asks, I may be forced to tell the truth. \u00a0Maybe he will not ask how far I have run! \u00a0Now there is a happy thought!<\/p>\n
So, I am really, really looking forward to Friday’s appointment. \u00a0I am wanting to get the official okay to run again. \u00a0Maybe then I will not feel quite so guilty about these wonderful runs I have been having. \u00a0I want to talk to him about a couple of Ultra’s I have my eye on~which one he would recommend I train for.<\/p>\n
One of the Ultra’s is on April 26. \u00a0The other Ultra is in July. \u00a0Running an Ultra in July in Mississippi~~~I must need my head examined to even consider it! \u00a0Would not that be a terrific run, though!?!<\/p>\n
