Today’s Run: \u00a04.00 miles<\/p>\n
Do you have that song stuck on your brain now? \u00a0Sorry about that. \u00a0I was just trying to find a running theme as the title for today’s blog.<\/p>\n
In reality, we are going to talk about…running! \u00a0That is right. \u00a0My all time favorite topic next to MFH and my chickens.<\/p>\n
Today’s run was a bit on the chilly side. \u00a0It was 41 F. and rainy towards the end. \u00a0We had a lot of thunder but I did not see any lightening. \u00a0There was a rather stiff Northerly breeze as well. \u00a0It. Felt. Great.<\/p>\n
I would have run in a blizzard just because it is so good to be back running again!!! \u00a0I have really missed it. \u00a0So have my jeans. \u00a0They are a bit more snug than when I was running a lot of miles. \u00a0The scale (scales are evil) has stayed the same but the sand was beginning to shift. \u00a0I am back to running and not a moment too soon!!! \u00a0Whew!<\/p>\n
People have been asking about the leg. \u00a0How is it? \u00a0Does it hurt anymore? \u00a0Should you be running?…..<\/p>\n
The leg feels fabulous!<\/p>\n
I have been very careful. \u00a0MFH has been with me on two of my three runs. \u00a0I have been listening to his advice. \u00a0When I have been by myself, I have had my phone with me. \u00a0If I had any feedback from my leg whatsoever, I would have called him to come a get me.<\/p>\n
I spent too long on crutches to blow it now.<\/p>\n
It is so good to be up and running again! \u00a0I cannot express the joy I have felt heading out the front door in the morning, even in the rain, and running just for the fun of it.<\/p>\n
I have run pain free. \u00a0I cannot remember the last time I did that. \u00a0Have not even needed an Advil pre-run! \u00a0How awesome is that!?! \u00a0This is glorious!<\/p>\n
I see my Ortho Dr. on March 7. \u00a0 If he ASKS if I have been running, I will tell him. \u00a0Period.<\/p>\n
Until then, I intend to log some miles! \u00a0 \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
