Today’s Run: \u00a0On hold. \u00a0My husband wants to run with me today, so I am waiting for him.<\/p>\n

One of my MFP friends presented everyone on his FL with with a challenge for the day. \u00a0The Challenge?<\/p>\n

“The Monday Challenge…I challenge me…and you to NOT complain that it’s Monday today and to do the opposite. Post up something positive, a blessing, an NSV. Besides, Today is National Tortilla Chip Day! Have a Groovy Monday!”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So, today’s blog is to not complain. \u00a0I am going to simply list a few blessings in my life. \u00a0The things for which I am most thankful.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1. \u00a0MFH. \u00a0My Favorite Husband is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. \u00a0Without him, I do not even want to think about what kind of a person I would have ended up to be. \u00a0Thank you Sweetie!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
2. \u00a0My children. \u00a0I have two adult children. \u00a0My daughter is 26 and my son 24. \u00a0They have grown to be wonderful people. \u00a0My daughter is a restaurant manager in Colorado (she did not make the move to Mississippi with us) and my son is a student at Mississippi State University. \u00a0Fine, fine people.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
3. \u00a0Living in Mississippi. \u00a0We had a major adjustment to make with our move to Mississippi from Colorado. \u00a0It has been one of the best moves we have ever made. \u00a0We have been here for 4 1\/2 years now. \u00a0We have the very best neighbors you could ever want and we have a super church that we attend. \u00a0Perfect.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
4. \u00a0My Sister. \u00a0Even though we about killed each other growing up, she finally turned into a pretty cool sister (Ha!). \u00a0We enjoy each others company and our families enjoy getting together for holidays and birthdays, etc. \u00a0(and btw, there was only the two of us, no other brothers or sisters \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
5. \u00a0In-laws. \u00a0I have the very best in-laws you could ever want. \u00a0Last week I had to make a long trip by myself, and my MIL talked to me on the phone the entire 3 hours I drove to keep me alert and awake. \u00a0How awesome is that!?!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
6. \u00a0Birthdays. \u00a0Beats the alternative!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
7. \u00a0Did I mention MFH? \u00a0HA!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
8. \u00a0Living in the Country. \u00a0With our move to Mississippi, I have been able to indulge in my love of animals and boy, do we have a bunch of them! \u00a0We started out with just the dog. \u00a0The both of our children moved and we ended up with their cats. \u00a0I wanted honey bees but they really are not pets. \u00a0Now we have the chickens! \u00a0They are a hoot!!!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
9. \u00a0Running. \u00a0MFH introduced me to my love of running. \u00a0Now that my stress fracture is looking to be healed, I am back running again. \u00a0I am loving every minute of it, too!!!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
10. \u00a0My health. \u00a0When we moved to Mississippi, my health was bad. \u00a0Through exercise, watching what I ate and new Doctors, I have been given a new lease on life.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
My list, obviously, should and could easily extend more, but I will stop here for now.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I am most thankful today.<\/div>\n
