On February 7, 2014, I called Active.com on the phone. \u00a0I spoke with Theresa. \u00a0AT 1:30 pm CST.<\/p>\n
I needed to transfer my race registration for the MS50 Trail Run to a certain individual who will remain nameless.<\/p>\n
Theresa walked me through the process. \u00a0Step by step we did this together. \u00a0She was kind of, “Out to lunch” is a nice way to put it, but I followed the instructions she gave me while she was giving them to me. \u00a0We concluded the conversation with the usual pleasantries, “Have a nice day.” \u00a0“Thank you for your help.”<\/p>\n
Yesterday, I found out I was Still Registered for the race and so was the un-named individual and I was not being refunded my registration fee because Active.com (Read: Theresa) messed up. \u00a0Again.<\/p>\n
I have spent this entire morning, on hold, with Active.com. \u00a0This time with Shanice. \u00a0She seems a bit more coherent. \u00a0She has been getting quite the run around from the support people. \u00a0We concluded a 2+hour conversation with, “Can I please have your phone number. \u00a0This may take a while. \u00a0Once I can get someone to give me a straight answer, I will call you back.”<\/p>\n
Uh-huh.<\/p>\n
So, what do you think? \u00a0Did she just ditch me?<\/p>\n
I give her 24 hours to call me back. \u00a0Maybe not that long. I have to get this thing resolved. \u00a0Fast. \u00a0I will be out $95.00 if I do not jump on this. \u00a0I has been a frustrating morning.<\/p>\n
