T-shirts and Turkey!<\/p>\n
We (MFH and I) are waiting for final approval of our FM radio station call sign. \u00a0WMFH. \u00a0Has a nice ring to it, does not it!?<\/p>\n
The t-shirts have to do with the radio station. \u00a0We have 18 months in which to raise the necessary funds for equipment and get on the air. \u00a0The funds needed will be between $10,000.00 and $15,000.00. \u00a0A healthy chuck of change.<\/p>\n
There is a thing called Quick Starter. \u00a0Some of you may have heard of it. \u00a0It is an organization that helps you with fund raising. \u00a0You provide “Thank You gifts” to people\/organizations that contribute to your project. \u00a0We are planning on utilizing Quick Starter for funding.<\/p>\n
Today, I made calls on how to get designs, logos, trademarks, copyrights, etc. for our station and non-profit~Classic Book Radio Corporation. \u00a0I talked to a really nice guy in Tupelo, Mississippi. \u00a0I have a race shirt from a half marathon I ran that he designed and printed. \u00a0He does good work. \u00a0I would like to have him do our shirts.<\/p>\n
So, that is the T-shirts. \u00a0Next Turkey.<\/p>\n
Right after Thanksgiving, the grocery store had Turkey’s on sale for .78 cents a pound. \u00a0That is a pretty good deal. \u00a0I bought one. \u00a0A 15 pound turkey. \u00a0I had plans to fix it for Easter. \u00a0I know you are supposed to have Ham on Easter but seeing as I do NOT like Ham, I thought that a Turkey would be a nice thing instead.<\/p>\n
Well, MFH (My Favorite Husband) bagged a deer last week. \u00a0YAY!!! \u00a0That took up all my freezer space. \u00a0This is not a complaint! \u00a0It is just a fact. \u00a0That Turkey had to go!<\/p>\n
I started thawing the Turkey on Thursday in the refrigerator. \u00a0It was not thawing. \u00a0I needed my refrigerator back, too! \u00a0I put it out yesterday. \u00a0It finally thawed and I am fixing it today. \u00a0All 15 pounds of it. My parents are coming over for dinner today. \u00a0I sure hope they are hungry! \u00a0I sure hope they plan on taking some Turkey home with them!<\/p>\n Tonight’s menu: \u00a0Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Giblet Gravy. \u00a0That is all. \u00a0Not too fancy. \u00a0There will be plenty to go around. \u00a0The house is beginning to smell mighty fine. \u00a0Yum!!! \u00a0 \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" No~not dynamite.
