Collins, Colorado, in an 1983 Ford Ranger. Color: Primer. You could watch the road through the floor boards of this truck. Max speed of said truck: 60 mph.

We drove through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon Territory and Alaska. We made it all the way in that truck with a seriously cracked bell housing that a mechanic in Yukon Territory kindly fashioned a “sleeve” to hold the housing tight so the starter would engage. Before the sleeve, we were push starting the truck and popping the clutch. It was an adventure!

Back to the cats.

She needed a home for her cat. Kali. MFH (My Favorite Husband) drove from Ft.
