Yesterday’s Run: \u00a024 miles. \u00a0Today’s run: \u00a010 miles<\/p>\n
My children have been giggling like little kids for the better part of a week.<\/p>\n
It all started when my son brought over a rather large box wrapped in red paper. \u00a0As soon as he set it down, the dog began showing a great deal of interest in said box. \u00a0Sniff…sniff…sniff…sniff…He would not stop sniffing that package!<\/p>\n
My son was outright laughing but was very serious when he said to put up the package because there was something in there that the dog would probably like. \u00a0So, I put it up.<\/p>\n
The next day over the phone, I mentioned this to my daughter. \u00a0She began to giggle too! \u00a0Two adult children giggling is disconcerting. If those two were not giggling, they were purring. \u00a0They were very pleased with themselves.<\/p>\n
I was dying to know what was in that big box!<\/p>\n
Finally, the time came. \u00a0My son was able to be there when I opened it (my daughter lives in a different state). \u00a0He was looking very pleased with himself. \u00a0I saved the big box for last.<\/p>\n
It was a Brew Kit! \u00a0I am going to learn to be a Brew-master!!! \u00a0How awesome is that!?!<\/p>\n
See, I love a nice beer to wrap up the end of a day. \u00a0Perfect ending to an perfect day. \u00a0The kids know this and decided that I would enjoy my beer even more if I had the satisfaction of knowing that I had made it myself. \u00a0They were right!<\/p>\n
Tomorrow, I will begin my very first batch of beer. \u00a0I am so excited!!! \u00a0I’ll let you know how it turns out…in a month. \u00a0That is how long it takes to go from start to finish.<\/p>\n
Patience is a virtue, right?<\/p>\n
