Today’s Run: \u00a06.31 miles<\/p>\n
My dog, Paxton, has a company hangover.<\/p>\n
Paxton is “Mr. Enthusiasm.” \u00a0He feels it is his doggie duty to be the primary source of welcome and entertainment whenever new people come to our house. \u00a0Actually, he feels duty bound whenever anybody comes to our house. \u00a0Maybe that is why we do not get much company? \u00a0 \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I had mentioned last week that Uncle Lee was coming for a visit. \u00a0That was yesterday. \u00a0Uncle Lee brought with him a surprise~Cousin Brian! \u00a0Yesterday was a win-win as far as we were concerned. \u00a0We talked and talked and talked. \u00a0We tried to fit four years of not seeing each other into four hours. \u00a0It was a tough job but with all four of us talking at the same time…well, we managed to do a lot of catching up. \u00a0We had a lovely time!<\/p>\n
Poor Paxton. \u00a0He wanted to help catch up, too! \u00a0He wanted petted. \u00a0He wanted this. \u00a0He wanted that. \u00a0What he really wanted to do was jump because he was soooo excited. \u00a0Paxton also knows that jumping is NOT allowed. \u00a0He tried really hard not to jump. \u00a0Silly dog~but who wants a 109 lb Boxer jumping on them? \u00a0Not me!<\/p>\n
Towards the end of the visit, Paxton was a pooped pooch. \u00a0He was laying on the floor. \u00a0Not for very long, mind you, but he was laying on the floor. \u00a0He was tired.<\/p>\n
Paxton did something last night that he was not done in a very long time. \u00a0He did not wake me up to go outdoors during the night. \u00a0I got a full night’s sleep! \u00a0Cool Beans! \u00a0We will have to have company more often, huh? \u00a0 \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
