Today’s Run: \u00a08.76 miles<\/p>\n
When my children were young, we had a “routine” where either my husband or I would read a bedtime story to them. \u00a0They looked forward to that time of quietness before falling off to sleep. It was a nice was to bring a bit of calm into a very busy house.<\/p>\n
We had a book of short children’s stories with a \u00a0moral focus to them. \u00a0In the back there were pages for the kids to write out their evening prayers, if they so chose. \u00a0We still have that book. \u00a0Both of my children have found that book while visiting and remark on how much they enjoyed that time. \u00a0Funny the things that bond you as a family!<\/p>\n
Hang onto your hats because we are going to take a leap of about 26 years and look at yesterday evening. \u00a0I. Could. Not. Sleep. \u00a0I was wired for sound. \u00a0No matter what I tried, I could not get sleepy!<\/p>\n
MFH (My Favorite Husband) had received a book in the mail yesterday. \u00a0Part of a Christmas present from his parents. \u00a0He knew what that book was and could NOT wait until Christmas so he opened it early. \u00a0He decided to read it aloud to me. \u00a0This is what he read:<\/p>\n
