{"id":2065,"date":"2013-11-28T16:44:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-28T22:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=2065"},"modified":"2013-11-28T16:44:00","modified_gmt":"2013-11-28T22:44:00","slug":"its-working","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=2065","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Working!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a08 miles<\/p>\n<p>Last week I mentioned to you that our gas fireplace was on the blink. \u00a0We heat our home with the gas fireplace and it was beginning to get a tad chilly in the house.<\/p>\n<p>My husband had tried replacing the ignition. \u00a0The original ignition aka: Sparker did not spark so he was pretty sure that was the source of our troubles.<\/p>\n<p>The new &#8220;Sparker&#8221; sparks great! \u00a0Wow~Can we start a fire with that thing. \u00a0The new problem was, the fire would not stay lit. \u00a0It would go out almost immediately. Hmmm&#8230;this would not do.<\/p>\n<p>Enter record breaking lows in Mississippi and a non-functioning fireplace. \u00a0This was motivation!<\/p>\n<p>After a failed trip to Lowe&#8217;s for a replacement thermo coupler we came home defeated.<\/p>\n<p>Not being completed without hope, MFH (My Favorite Husband) completely disassembled the fireplace and discovered something encouraging! \u00a0The replacement thermo coupler would not have solved the problem anyway! \u00a0Well, that was a relief.<\/p>\n<p>He went online and ordered a new pilot assembly. \u00a0Apparently, the old one was shot. \u00a0Dead in the water. \u00a0THAT is why we did not have a warm house in the middle of a cold spell.<\/p>\n<p>The new pilot assembly arrived in the mail late yesterday. \u00a0Let&#8217;s hear it for USPS! \u00a0It was easy to install and we now have heat! \u00a0YAY! \u00a0It is a toasty warm 72 F in my house right now. \u00a0We are living in the lap of luxury here in good ol&#8217; Mississippi. \u00a0Life is good and I am Thankful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a08 miles Last week I mentioned to you that our gas fireplace was on the blink. \u00a0We heat our home with the gas fireplace and it was beginning to get a tad chilly in the house.
