Today’s Run: \u00a07.00 miles<\/p>\n
Today is MFH (My Favorite Husband) birthday. \u00a0He is 52 years old today. \u00a0He is exactly three months and two days older than me.<\/p>\n
Seeing as we are a wild bunch, we decided to really celebrate his birthday this year by going to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and renew our driver’s licenses. \u00a0Woo-Hoo!!!<\/p>\n
We waited a while. \u00a0Waited some more. \u00a0And waited some more and then Ta-Dah! \u00a0They called our number! \u00a0YAY!!! \u00a0We were making progress!!!<\/p>\n
Once they called our number, thing really did go pretty fast.<\/p>\n
With one exception:<\/p>\n
DMV: “You do not look like you weigh that much, girl!”<\/p>\n
ME: “I dropped a few pounds.”<\/p>\n
DMV: \u00a0“Girl, You look great!”<\/p>\n
ME: \u00a0“Thank you.”<\/p>\n
And people are starting to turn around and stare at this point.<\/p>\n
DMV: \u00a0“What you weigh now!?!”<\/p>\n
People are listening now.<\/p>\n
Me: \u00a0*whisper*<\/p>\n
DMV: \u00a0“You Go, Girl!!!”<\/p>\n
I got my new drivers license today and I did not even have to lie about my weight~and every person who was in that room today at the DMV knows exactly how much I weigh, too.<\/p>\n
