Today’s Run: \u00a012.14 miles<\/p>\n
I had a new running partner for today’s run! \u00a0MFH is out with Sciatica issues and therefore, unable to run. \u00a0Poor guy is pretty uncomfortable. \u00a0He tried to run on Thursday and made it about 100 yards before he had to turn around and walk home. \u00a0I hate to see him hurt. \u00a0He is slowly getting better and hopefully he will be able to join me on our morning runs again soon.<\/p>\n
This brings me to my new running partner.<\/p>\n
See, I am a FB page admin for a running group. \u00a0The running group is a virtual running group and I am the Chapter Admin for my state. \u00a0Lots of fun with that! \u00a0I met today’s running partner through my state group.<\/p>\n
She lives in the same town as I do and is training for her first full marathon. \u00a0She is in the final part of her training~The Long Slow Run. Today she was supposed to run 18 miles but seeing as I just did my marathon two weeks ago, running 18 was a little out of the question. \u00a0We did a compromise and we both had a nice, long run.<\/p>\n
Next weekend I am doing a Half Marathon and she is talking about running that with me! \u00a0Would not that be fun!?! \u00a0MFH will not be able to run it with me and seeing as he really does not like running longer distances like I do, this would be perfect!<\/p>\n
She does a lot of racing. \u00a0I do not. \u00a0Too expensive! \u00a0With racing comes a lot of training and we are talking about doing a training run once a week together.<\/p>\n
Really, being the admin for this page has been beneficial! \u00a0I had something to do during the day~keeps me out of trouble (theoretically)~and I get to meet nice people who like to run as much as I do! \u00a0Cool Beans!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
