Today’s Run: \u00a07.30 miles<\/p>\n

Today was a picture perfect day for a long run. \u00a0It was sunny, light breeze and in the low 60’s. \u00a0Very pleasant. \u00a0There was a large group today at the running group also, probably about 30-35 runners. \u00a0There is a lot of energy when that many people get together to run and that makes the run more enjoyable (and easier!).<\/p>\n

Our route today was called the Chinese Restaurant loop. \u00a0I am not quite sure why it is called that because there is not a Chinese restaurant anywhere near there, it is all rural. \u00a0The official route was 12.2 miles but we only did 7.30. We had people we had to meet shortly after we were done and time was a constraint.<\/p>\n

Anyway, today as well as the past few weeks, we have made a turn at a road named Bethel Road. \u00a0It is named Bethel Road because there is a Church there named Bethel Church. \u00a0They actually named the road after the Church. \u00a0Interesting. \u00a0At this intersection, there is something there we affectionately call “The Perpetual Garage Sale”. \u00a0These people have a\u00a0derelict building where each Saturday morning, early!, they haul out all sorts of “treasures” and people come from far and wide to pick through it. \u00a0It is fun to see how many people are there each Saturday. \u00a0I think the owner is getting to know us because he is beginning to say “Good morning” to us as we pass.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
