Today’s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n
We (my husband and I) were the main event today.<\/p>\n
Our church has a Seniors luncheon every month and we were the speakers for this months meeting. \u00a0They wanted to learn about the two of us. \u00a0How we met. \u00a0When we were married. \u00a0How many kids we have and how old they are. Etc. Etc. Etc.<\/p>\n
Boring.<\/p>\n
I do not find my life all that interesting. \u00a0We do have a few funny stories to tell but not all that riveting to listen to for 30 minutes or so.<\/p>\n
The people seemed to love it! \u00a0Go figure.<\/p>\n
They had us stay for lunch. \u00a0They were gracious. \u00a0They were funny. \u00a0We enjoyed ourselves immensely!<\/p>\n
On the running front and totally off the topic of the luncheon…<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we hit the road again after having today as a rest day.<\/p>\n
Last week was pretty tough. \u00a0Every run felt like my legs were concrete blocks. \u00a0I could barely run. \u00a0I was not particularly sore or anything, my body just did not want to move. \u00a0Saturdays long run went great and so did Monday’s run! \u00a0I am hoping that that lack of inertia has passed. \u00a0Running 26.2 miles on wooden legs would not be much fun!<\/p>\n
