Today’s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n
The “Race Dreams” are in full swing. \u00a0ie: I forgot to pack my running shoes, the airport lost my luggage, we got lost on the way to the starting line, we couldn’t find the starting line, I was in the porta-potty when the starting gun went off and the clincher…I miss the time cut off time for the end of the race by 5 minutes and do NOT get my finishers medal! ARGH!<\/p>\n
Seeing that I am a little OCD, these things get to me. \u00a0I WILL NOT check my luggage with the airline. \u00a0Everything will be carry on.<\/p>\n
I will take Imodium before the race so I do not have pre-race intestinal difficulties.<\/p>\n
I will order extra Gu from RoadRunnerSports.com tomorrow so I have enough Gu (otherwise it will be a close thing on the Gu front).<\/p>\n
I will pack extra pairs of socks, arm warmers, hats, headbands, knee strap…everything that I can possibly think that I may possibly need…it will be in that carry on suitcase!<\/p>\n
And clothes~! \u00a0Yes, I will pack clothes for the rest of the week! \u00a0Now there is a novel idea!<\/p>\n
Not that I am a “Nervous Nellie” or anything.<\/p>\n
