We ran this morning in Duck Weather. \u00a0It was raining enough to make Noah proud. \u00a0We received 3.56″ of rain during our little squall today. \u00a0And we were running in the middle of it.<\/p>\n
We got wet.<\/p>\n
Today was our long run day. \u00a0We were prepared for a long time on the road. \u00a0We had our water bottles in our Nathan Belt. \u00a0In the little pouch we had a few Gu’s and “paper products” (you never know when you may need to “visit the trees”). \u00a0We set off in the rain, in the dark.<\/p>\n
We tried out these cool LED flashlights! \u00a0They are rectangular instead of round. \u00a0They kinda look like a pencil\/pen. \u00a0They have a magnetic clip that you can clip onto your belt\/waistband etc. \u00a0When we no longer needed them because it was light enough to run without them, we stuck them onto a stop sign to retrieve on our way back. \u00a0Worked like a charm!<\/p>\n
When we started out, I went, step, step, step, sploosh! \u00a0I stepped right into a good sized puddle. \u00a0Rats! \u00a0But, that was the only puddle I stepped in the rest of the run.<\/p>\n
The rest of the run I went step,squelch, step, squelch, step, squelch…<\/p>\n
