Today’s Run: \u00a05.20 miles<\/p>\n
Today has been an unreal day. \u00a0A “Pinch me, I’m dreaming” kind of a day. \u00a0Not in a bad way, mind you, but in a WOW! \u00a0This is very flattering and I am very excited about it, kind of a day.<\/p>\n
What has me all in a dither??? \u00a0I thought you would NEVER ask!<\/p>\n
First, we must backtrack a little bit.<\/p>\n
You all know that I write children’s stories for a regional magazine. \u00a0These stories are based on my chickens. \u00a0The main character is my hen, Ed Stakrispie (Extra Crispy) and her companion, Ginger, the Hen. \u00a0Together, they solve a mystery surrounding the goings on in the hen yard. \u00a0We have a FB fan page and everything!<\/p>\n
My son, is a student at MSU (Mississippi State University) and he knows the German professor there pretty well. \u00a0She always asks how my chickens are doing.<\/p>\n
In passing conversation, my son had mentioned the stories to the German professor and she went out and picked up one of the magazines. \u00a0That was a nice thing for her to do.<\/p>\n
She.Loved.The.Stories!<\/p>\n
She talked to my son today and asked for permission from me. \u00a0See, she wants to use my stories in her German classes! \u00a0She wants to use them as a translation assignment in her classes!!!<\/p>\n
