Today’s Run: \u00a04.25 miles<\/p>\n
I am computer illiterate. \u00a0I freely admit this fact. \u00a0It is strange that while I am very gifted in messing up computers, my husband is a “computer guru” for a living! \u00a0They say that opposites attract.<\/p>\n
I am getting better at surfing the net, FB, emails etc. without blowing up my laptop. \u00a0I have a smart phone which I am able to use with relative ease, so I guess there is hope for me yet.<\/p>\n
However…<\/p>\n
I am stumped. \u00a0See…<\/p>\n
I am a member of a few online running clubs. \u00a0Just “Hi! \u00a0This is what I ran today” or “I had a really rough run today” and what have you. Encouragement. \u00a0Support. \u00a0Questions asked and answered. \u00a0Just nice.<\/p>\n
Today, I was approached about beginning a Mississippi chapter for one of these running clubs. \u00a0I was stunned. \u00a0Flattered. \u00a0Excited to be able to participate. \u00a0Stumped.<\/p>\n
Stumped at the computer work that I needed to do to get the chapter up and running. \u00a0Now, I can copy and paste with the best of them but boy, some of this stuff is way beyond my meager abilities on the laptop.<\/p>\n
Enter: \u00a0My husband.<\/p>\n
I have asked my husband to help me this evening with the computer stuff so I can have this ready by the 25th. \u00a0That is when they are making chapter announcements. \u00a0That is two days to get this done. \u00a0I am sure it is something easy and he will have no problem with it. \u00a0I hope.<\/p>\n
