Today’s Run: \u00a04.23 miles<\/p>\n

I have been a blonde for as long as I can remember. \u00a0When I was a little girl, I was a towhead. \u00a0As I have matured (read, aged) my hair has gotten darker with each passing year and developed red highlights until I now find that I have an auburn look to my hair.<\/p>\n

Not willing to admit defeat to maturity (again, read: age) I have been coloring my hair the same old blonde that I was in my younger years.<\/p>\n

Today, it was time to go back to my “real” hair color.<\/p>\n

Enter: \u00a0My hairdresser.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0First, though, I asked the all important question, “How much gray do I have?” She assured me that I hardly had any~IF any. \u00a0I have aged well with my hair…not so well with the rest of me (a little age related humor there \u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Amelia (My hairdresser) thought I was crazy to go from a “youthful blonde” to a brunette. \u00a0It had to be done. \u00a0I am too old to try to hang onto a true blonde.<\/p>\n

Enter “Miss Clarol”.<\/p>\n

I sat there in Amelia’s chair for what seemed an eternity. \u00a0I watched my hair turn to what seemed like a black color. \u00a0I knew that once the hair color was washed out it could not possibly be that dark. \u00a0Right??? \u00a0It came time to shampoo and cut and style and…I think I like it?!?<\/p>\n
