Today’s Run: \u00a012.00 miles<\/p>\n
Paxton is my dog. \u00a0He is my guardian, my watchdog, my hero. \u00a0Ever faithful, vigilant and true.<\/p>\n
Paxton is a Boxer. \u00a0I believe we have discussed him in a previous post but we are going to continue our discourse a bit longer because he has proven to me again just how wonderfully brave he is.<\/p>\n
We have discussed his fear of thunderstorms and how he hides in the hall bath or under my husband’s desk. \u00a0He is afraid of fireworks. \u00a0This Thursday is going to be awful for him. \u00a0Poor puppy.<\/p>\n
Discussion has been held about his great enthusiasm aka: \u00a0love of life, and the names he has obtained in regards to said enthusiasm. \u00a0Paxton the Destroyer, \u00a0Mr. Enthusiasm and of course Bozo. \u00a0Those are all, wonderful, fitting and well earned names for my pudgy pooch.<\/p>\n
But today…today is the icing on the cake. \u00a0Paxton has finally learned how to spell. \u00a0The word he can spell is, W-A-L-K. \u00a0Bright boy, my Paxton! \u00a0So, I said, “I am going to take ‘You know who’ on a ‘You know what'” and my husband said, “What?” and I said, “I am going to take ‘You know who’ on a W-A-L-K” and the dog went bananas! \u00a0Yipee!!! \u00a0I get to go on a walk!!! \u00a0Jump, jump, jump!!!<\/p>\n
We toddled off down our street on his W-A-L-K when I almost lost control of my brave and loyal friend. \u00a0He totally flipped out on me! \u00a0Why? \u00a0A butterfly landed on his puppy butt. \u00a0YAY! \u00a0Paxton. \u00a0Hero status achieved!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
