Today’s Run: \u00a06 miles<\/p>\n
To be a runner:<\/p>\n
You don’t have to run fast.<\/p>\n
You don’t have to run far.<\/p>\n
You just have to get up and run!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
<\/p>\n
We ran a beautiful route this morning. \u00a0MacIntyre Road.<\/p>\n
MacIntyre Road is a gravel road of six miles. \u00a0It is canopied by trees the majority of the way and with the sun shining, like it was this morning, the sun peeks through the trees making it a lovely, cozy run of sun dappled beauty. \u00a0It was glorious!<\/p>\n
The temperature this morning was only 63 F. with 86% humidity. \u00a0There was a slight NW breeze keeping it nice and cool. \u00a0Perfect! \u00a0Seeing as we have been running in the upper 70’s and low 80’s the past couple of weeks, this was a most welcome change. \u00a0But enough of the weather…<\/p>\n
The big news of the day, is that today is my Wedding Anniversary! \u00a028 years!!! \u00a0Awesomeness!!! \u00a0I must admit that I married a “Keeper”. \u00a0I tease and call my husband MFH (My Favorite Husband) and he really is MFH but he is also my only husband. \u00a0I cannot imagine spending my life with anyone else. \u00a0He is the best!<\/p>\n
We met the first day of 8th grade. \u00a0We got sent to the Principal’s office! Long story. \u00a0But basically, we have been together ever since. \u00a0We dated nine years and now have been married 28 years. \u00a0Pretty doggone awesome in my book!<\/p>\n
We will go out for dinner this evening and then tomorrow go see the new Star Trek movie. \u00a0Cannot do both tonight. \u00a0We have running group in the morning (11+ miles on the docket) and we hit the sack early to be up and at ’em bright and early to run.<\/p>\n
